Project Details

Aztech Services has expanded our capability and begun managing commercial building works within the South-East Queensland region. To date, our core clientele are utility provider Energex and the construction branch of the State Government, QBuild. Both entities have strict compliance requirements which must be met in order to be eligible for project award.

The current span of work encompasses asbestos removal (both friable and non-friable), electrical, carpentry, plumbing, fire and flooring works. All projects have had distinct constraints, whether that is working around live high-voltage equipment that supplies the entire Gold Coast region or undertaking works for education on an out-of-hours basis to ensure the safety of children and staff in schools.

All client compliance requirements are continuously met with the provision of site-specific documentation, regulatory approvals, waste transport, EPA tracking and disposal of waste and evidence of required health surveillance and RPE fit testing for all assigned hazardous material technicians in accordance with the relevant Codes of Practice.

Like all projects, unidentified issues have appeared in varying capacities on most works, and these are actioned in a prompt and efficient manner, with clear communication to the client and multiple options for forward progress offered by Aztech to stakeholders.
