Over the duration of 14 days, Aztech Services Australia was engaged to undertake the remediation of Class A friable contaminated soil, within the Tarrkarri site, Lot Fourteen Precinct. Endorsed remediation methods from the EPA and Safe Work SA were adopted to undertake the work enabling a safe, cost effective and practical approach.

With the remediation undertaken in the heart of Adelaide, public and multiparty communication was key to successfully completing the high-risk project. Daily information sessions were conducted with stakeholders and the public to communicate commitments that ensured safe working environments, and to consider expectations and simultaneous operations.
